Lani Weissbach, Director of Artist Residencies and Embodied Learning for IMAC, was invited by Fort Wayne Dance Collective to teach a series of Butoh workshops for the Fort Wayne dance community. Participants were introduced to Butoh, a hybrid form of dance theater that arose in Post WWII Japan and is now practiced worldwide. Butoh links physical and spiritual practices from around the globe and accounts for movers of all ages and abilities.
