Sunday, June 30th
2:30pm – 3:45pm
Lauren Gendron of Echo Dance Company brings this adult workshop to IMAC for beginner to intermediate dancers who enjoy chill Hip Hop and R&B music. Incorporating elements of hip hop dance and street jazz, participants will learn choreography that compliments and enhances the message and lyrics of the song choice. Participants will be pushed to explore the possibility of using hip hop dance as a storytelling device. This workshop will include a brief warm up, learning original choreography, and end with a cool down. Come ready to move, to learn, and to have fun!
Lauren Gendron is a young professional in the Indianapolis arts community with a huge passion for dance, choreography, and live performance.
