About Hip Hop
Hip Hop with Devin Hill meets the last Saturday of each month. Hip Hop classes for 2024 will resume on Saturday, March 30th. Beginner Hip Hop meets from 1-2pm, followed by Intermediate Hip Hop from 2-3pm.
Beginner Hip Hop
Saturday, November 30th
1pm-2pm
This Beginner Hip-Hop class is for dancers/movers who are interested in developing a groove, flow and continuity within movement. This class will teach musicality and rhythm with an emphasis on the syncopation and cadences experienced in Hip-Hop music.is a Paragraph.
Intermediate Hip Hop
Saturday, November 30th
2-3pm
This Intermediate Hip Hop class will be more choreography based. Dancers who have prior knowledge of musicality, flow and Hip Hop basics will be exploring how to combine those skills with style.

About the Instructor
Meet Devin Hill
Devin Denise was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN. She began her training at Dance Magic Performing Arts Center in Indianapolis where she studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Graham, Contemporary and Hip Hop for 8 years. In 2018, Devin received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance from Ball State University, where she received extensive technique training in Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Musical Theater and Acting. Throughout her dance career, Devin has traveled nationally and internationally. She has trained in California, New York, Atlanta and Chicago with choreographers including Brian Friedman, Gary Beauford , Allyne Gatrell, and Sidra Bell. She has danced for Fever Inferno Hip Hop Dance team, Kenyetta Dance Company, Phoenix Rising Dance Company, BET Awards Pre-show and for R & B artist Jacquees.

Indy Movement Arts is located at 4011 North Pennsylvania Street. Please park along Pennsylvania Street and enter the building via the double door that face Pennsylvania Street. You will see our IMAC and DANCE signs in the windows. Please wear clothing you can comfortably move in and bring water.
